Guide: How does a vape work?
All of us have at some point been new to e-cigarettes and are looking for information about how an e-cigarette works, in this post we will explain how an e-cig works and how it is structured so that you get an insight into how the various components of an electronic cigarette work together to create vapor.
Initially, we will explain for what purpose an electronic cigarette should be used and point out that you should not use e-cigarettes if you do not have a need for it.
An electronic cigarette must be used as an alternative to tobacco smoking and must be considered as an aid for you as a former or current tobacco smoker to find a healthier alternative.
NOTE that we do not encourage anyone to start using electronic cigarettes unless there is a need for it and that electronic cigarettes are not healthy but are a healthier alternative to tobacco cigarettes!
How an electronic cigarette is built
An electronic cigarette consists of several different components that work together, depending on the brand, an e-cig can differ in appearance from others, but it is worth knowing that all components work the same, there are different variations of so-called coils and liquid containers that can have different effects and sizes.

An electronic has three important components that work together to create vapor, below you will find useful information about the three components so that you as a reader get an idea of how an e-cig works.
The battery (the mod)
The battery is the component that drives the current in the e-cigarette, there are different sizes of batteries and there are also electronic cigarettes that require external batteries that you install in the e-cigarette yourself and take out when it's time to charge the batteries .
Then there are also batteries that are built into the e-cig and are charged via a USB cable that is usually included in the box.
The tank (liquid container)
The task of the tank is to store the e-liquid, here too there are different sizes of liquid containers and are divided into milliliters (example: 2ml, 3ml, 5ml), it is also worth knowing that there are different liquid containers with different diameters for example: 25mm.
The size of the tank is worth keeping an eye on if, for example, you want to install your tank on another mod. Usually all e-cig tanks are equipped with a 510 thread that is screwed onto the battery, if you are going to put a new tank on your battery make sure all the components fit!
The coil (evaporator)
The coil's task is to vaporize the e-liquid that is inside the liquid container, the coil is also installed in the tank and inside the coil there is cotton that absorbs e-liquid and soaks the heating elements in the coil so that vapor can be produced. It is very important to keep the coil wet all the time.
If you have too little e-liquid in the container, the coil cannot absorb e-liquid and the cotton in the coil will burn and will result in a burnt taste when you inhale from the e-cigarette.
There are different coils that fit your electronic cigarette and the coils have different properties and when you talk about properties, you talk about ohms. As a rule, you can think that a coil that has an ohm number below 1.0 produces more vapor but at the same time consumes more e-liquid, such a coil is called sub-ohm while a coil that has an ohm number above 1.0 produces less vapor but at the same time consumes less e-liquid per inhalation, that type is usually called MTL (mouth to lung) and is recommended for smokers who want to switch to vaping.
Vaping can be perceived as confusing and difficult to understand at first glance, but if you give it time and get into it, it will come naturally and you will gain a greater insight into what vaping is, how it works and what it is for for.
